Man Gets 60 Years For 2011 Plainfield Stabbing: Prosecutors

Anthony James, a 62-year-old Plainfield man was sentenced to 60 years in state prison for a 2011 fatal stabbing, Union County Prosecutor William Daniel said.

In Sept. 2011, Plainfield police responded to James' home on the 300 block of East 7th St. and found the body of 48-year-old Audrey Tanksley, Daniel said. James had called 911, Daniel said. 

James was sentenced after being convicted of first degree murder and two weapons charges, Daniel said.
